Marcelo Tobar
A film graduate of the Vancouver Film School, he has written, directed, and produced seven feature films. Among them, *Oso Polar*—the first Latin American film shot entirely on iPhones—won the prestigious Best Film award at the 2017 Morelia International Film Festival, presented by a jury presided over by Béla Tarr. He has over ten years of experience as a screenwriter and director for Mexican series, directed the TV series *Amarres* (HBO Max, 2021) and two seasons of "ANA" (Prime Video/Pantaya, 2022).
