Aaqib Khan is an Indian actor, writer, director, producer, and editor who discovered his passion for cinematic storytelling at the age of ten by shooting his first short film on a standard multimedia phone. He later pursued his higher education at the University of Delhi, graduating with a degree in English Honours. Following his time at university, Aaqib dedicated himself to theatre. Through numerous live stage productions, he honed his craft as an actor, developing a deep understanding of performance and character building that continues to inform his work today. Operating as an independent auteur, Aaqib built his technical foundation by taking complete creative ownership of his early projects. He stepped behind the camera to write, direct, produce, and edit his own short films, including One More Chapter in 2022, Boundless in 2023, and Juliet in 2023. By managing every major department across these productions, he developed a practical approach to filmmaking. This comprehensive experience proved his ability to conceptualize a distinct vision and guide it flawlessly from the blank page to the final edit. Building upon his early directorial work, Aaqib expanded into feature films. He began developing his debut independent romantic drama Seher aur Saad in 2024 and successfully filmed it across Delhi in 2025. Crafted specifically for the theatrical big screen experience, the project marks his transition into long format storytelling. He is currently guiding Seher aur Saad through post production, which remains his primary focus as he prepares the film for audiences.
