Precious Wura Alabi
A filmmaker and actress, Precious wrote, directed and starred in BFI funded, BIFA and BAFTA qualifying short film (SPIN), 2023 which went on to be nominated for Best International Short at Palm Springs International ShortFest. This film was developed whilst Precious was qualifying as a pharmacist having studied pharmacy at King’s College London. Prior to (SPIN), Precious wrote and directed the experimental short film Cuckoo Chick (2020) which was shot on an iPhone, platformed on ‘Girls In Film’ and was selected for a number of small festivals. Before this she had written a short play Losers (2019) which played at Theatre 503 to sold-out audiences. Her creative education includes B3 Media where she completed the Origin Programme and became an Associate Artist. As an actress, she has appeared in Boiling Point (2022) directed by Philip Barantini, starring Stephen Graham and trained with the National Youth Theatre and Identity Drama School of Acting. She additionally works as a Performance Director for Musicians and is in development for two short films and two feature projects. She is also a BAFTA Connect member.
