Κιάνου Ριβς
Ο Κιάνου Τσαρλς Ριβς είναι Καναδός ηθοποιός. Γεννήθηκε στις 2 Σεπτεμβρίου 1964 στη Βηρυτό και έχει ρίζες από την Αγγλία, τη Χαβάη και την Κίνα. Τα δύο του πάθη ήταν η ηθοποιία (είχε αρχίσει να ασχολείται ήδη από την ηλικία των 9) και το χόκεϊ επί πάγου. Στη ηλικία των 14 άρχισε σοβαρά να ασχολείται με την ηθοποιία. Αρχικά, εμφανιζόταν σε μικρούς ρόλους σε σειρές στην καναδέζικη τηλεόραση και σε διαφημίσεις. Το 1984 εγκατέλειψε το σχολείο για να κάνει την ίδια χρόνια το επαγγελματικό του ξεκίνημα σε μια θεατρική παραγωγή στο Τορόντο με το Wolfboy, ένα ερωτικό δράμα. Ύστερα μετακόμισε στο Λος Άντζελες και μετά από οκτώ μήνες πήρε τον πρωταγωνιστικό ρόλο στο δράμα River's Edge, για τον οποίο απέσπασε καλές κριτικές. Εκτός από την ηθοποιία, έπαιζε μπάσο στο συγκρότημα "Dogstar". Το 2000 ήταν να γίνει πατέρας από την τότε κοπέλα του, Jennifer Syme, αλλά το μωρό γεννήθηκε νεκρό τον Δεκέμβριο του 1999. Η Jennifer Syme τελικά σκοτώθηκε τον Απρίλιο του 2001 σε αυτοκινητιστικό δυστύχημα, ενώ οδηγούσε υπό την επήρεια αλκοόλ και πιθανώς και φαρμάκων, σε ηλικία μόλις 28 ετών. Το 2012 ίδρυσε μαζί με τον φίλο του, Gard Hollinger, την εταιρία custom made μοτοσυκλετών Arch Motorcycle Company.
